Rock Track and Field and Cross Country are excited to kick off the 2026 cross country season with the return of our Alumni Race and Picnic on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

The day will begin with the alumni race, follow by a picnic at the ski lodge.
11:00 AM Alumni Race Slippery Rock University Athletic Complex Meet at the Band Field next to Egli Soccer Field at 10:30 am for registration. Join in a 5k race consisting of four 1250-meter loops... get a 50-meter head start for every year since you've graduated!

1:00 - 4:00 PM Alumni Picnic University Ski Lodge, Slippery Rock University All alumni, friends, and family are welcome to join. There will be a pig roast, sides, and beverages. The BBQ is on us, but feel free to BYOB!

Now the best part - registration is free, but we ask that you please register prior to the event to ensure that we have enough food and beverages for everyone.
